A brief but pleasant ride in our minivan takes you out of the bustling city and straight into the Chianti hills. Your 24-gear speed bike already awaits you — a quick introduction to your gear and we are ready to hit the road!
Following our professional local guide, you discover the picturesque beauty of vineyards and olive groves, medieval castles and hilltop estates while green paths and romantic country roads take you deeper into the world-renowned land of wine.
From hidden sites to breathtaking views over Florence and its stunning surroundings: The Chianti region is a sight for sore eyes and offers plenty of opportunities for postcard-perfect photos.
Our active limbs shall be rewarded: For lunch, we stop at a private Chianti Villa Estate. Strolling across the vineyard, we learn about the traditions surrounding the production of local specialties and build our appetite as we explore the estate’s ancient “cantina” and “orciaia”, the place old oil jars are stored. A local wine tasting adds a special flavor to our meal — a delicious Tuscan multi-course lunch served right here, in the cellar! Newly energized, we jump back on the saddle, following the country roads downhill and back to the bike depot, with the minivan ready to take you back to the city.
